LAKISA, is a Lingala word, a language mainly spoken in the Republic of Congo and in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) which means "to teach or to show or to indicate".

LAKISA is an online, biannual indexed journal with an international scientific and reading committee. LAKISA is hosted within the Educational Sciences Research Laboratory (LARSCED) of the École Normale Supérieure of Marien Ngouabi University (Congo). Its objective is to promote Research in Education through the dissemination of knowledge in this area of research. The journal publishes original articles in the field of educational sciences (didactics of disciplines, sociology of education, psychology of learning, history of education, philosophy of education, etc.). The publication languages are French and English. The journal also publishes, exclusively, the results of scientific days and conferences in the same fields.

Authors who submit papers to LAKISA journal are required to respect the CAMES editorial principles and standards for the presentation of a scientific paper in Letters and Human Sciences (NORCAMES / LSH) as well as the journal's own typography.
